The Kitchen Song
1. When I was just a kid, there was this funny song
A song my mama did, and we'd sing along
It always made us laugh, it's called The Kitchen Song
CHORUS 1:
Keep your kitchen clean, or life will be a drag
You can do the work, with a soapy rag
Don't forget the stove, you'll find a treasure trove
2. Now when I hit my teens, I was so doggone cool
I was the cat's meow, I wouldn't play the fool
But that kitchen song, it was a household rule
CHORUS 2:
Keep your kitchen clean, and your house will shine
Do a dirty job, and you'll feel so fine
Your friends will be amazed, when they come to dine
3. Now any kid of mine, can count on just one thing
There's this little song, they're gonna have to sing
I will pass it on, it's The Kitchen Song
REPEAT CHORUS 1 REPEAT CHORUS 2
